1. Select tools

In the blocking of pipe fittings, workpieces and bars, it is very important to reduce the cutting force and save data. Therefore, the blade should be as narrow as possible, and the groove shape can make the cutting narrower than the groove. This posture can achieve excellent cutting control and appearance finish.

2. How to use

The blade should be as narrow as possible. This can be conducive to the saving of data and the reduction of cutting force, and can also reduce the pollution to the environment. If possible, prevent cutting to the center. Reduce the feed rate by 75% before blocking up to 2mm from the workpiece center, which can maximize the tool life. Stop the cutting process about 1mm before approaching the center of the workpiece, and the part will fall due to its own weight and length.

Precautions for blocking processing:

1. Set the tool tip height 0.1 ~ 0.2mm higher than the center point.

2. Wet machining must be used and sufficient cutting fluid must flow to the blade tip.

3. Introduction processing adopts fixed rotation tree to stabilize the tool life.

4. Close to the clamping point as much as possible during blocking.

5. When the blocking processing is close to the center, please reduce the feed to 1 / 2 to 3 / 1 of the original to prevent the impact during blocking.

2.1. Pre drilling

Be sure to drill deep enough not to affect the lateral force. The force on the blade at the side sharp angle may lead to blade cracking and different tool life.

2.2. Block small diameter bars and thin-walled tubes

Try to use the smallest and sharpest blade to ensure the maximum force.

2.3. No flash blocking

Use the right or left hand fine grinding blade with front angle to prevent or reduce flash. Note that large rake angles reduce flash, but an uneven appearance may occur, which may lead to worse appearance finish and shorter tool life. Use as small a front angle as possible. 2.4. Blocking of pipe fittings

Use the blade as narrow as possible to save data, reduce cutting force and reduce environmental pollution.

2.5. No burr blocking

Use right or left hand fine blades with front corners to prevent or reduce burrs.

Therefore, when machining in the parts CNC processing plant, when the force and moving direction of the tool are the same, we must operate carefully, prevent the occurrence of knife pricking and knife breaking, reduce certain losses, do a good job in the grinding condition and clamping condition of the tool, and adjust all parameters of the machine tool to make all parts of the machine tool outstanding.
